Final Paper

 Abstract
Each person has the right  to judge for themselves who they are and express themselves in the way that is most meaningful to their life. The social justice and the cultural expectation is only based on one’s biological sex, gender identity, and gender expression. For example, a man who wears pink color shirts expressed as gay.  This expectation does not serve our diverse world and it  ignores  the many experiences of self expression. The world is already changing and we all have the responsibility to honor the diversity of truths that exists within our communities.
My challenge in writing this paper is reconciling the old idea with the new one. The old idea is what I brought from back home, that is; gender is only male and female.

Genderqueer

I have a kind of question with myself after I read about the uncategorized gender, Genderqueer.  The story was on JIZ LEE,  who refuses to be identified by gender pronouns, or be recognized as female or male. What I was taught is that gender is determined based on biological sex given at birth, if this is true there has to be male , female, and both sex on one person. My question is how do we I identify ourselves? Do we have to leave for the society to identify us?or we ourselves can push the limits of the society to recognize us on our own term like JIZ LEE?

No one is born with the same genes or symetrical. When people are created they resemble to the DNA of their parents. Everyone has their own unique body shape, size and structure. Beauty is also determined by the eyes of others. For some people beauty is money, and for the others it is body structure. For me beauty is good qualities. People usually forget to see the good qualities of others and end up  having the relationship the don't want to. People who say I am beautiful based on their structure have to understand that it is temporary. Body shape is something that comes and goes. The constructed image of beauty is something everyone has to ignore and It is affecting most relationship. I believe that in order for everyone to come together,  people have to believe in themselves that no one is greater than others, be confident with what they have, and believe in who they are. No one has to be judged because of body size and shape, in stead, to focus on the good qualities of human being. At the end of the day good qualities are the essentials that stands out.

Race play

Most of the time when a black man have a relationship with  a white woman, I think that they are together because of sexual relationship. I don't think that they have a true relationship out of bed room. This resonates me the person I know who always want to date white women. When I asked him why he wants to date a white woman,  he said that white women do not want to stick with you and  he want to take advantage of that. From the conversation in the podcast, his story reminded me how the race play is involved in his relationship with white women.  In either way their is a race play. They both know that they only call each other only for sex. the other thing what I assume is that  in the sexual relationship between black men and white women, the black men are in dominant role and the white women are in  submissive role.  When it comes to black women Vs white men, I believe that black women might have the assumption that they could have better relationship if they are with white men. I am not sure to say that who is on dominant or submissive role in the bed room, but it depends on who has the most sexual arousal. The most could be dominant and the least could be submissive.

Progress of mid-term paper

On the progress of my paper, I am on the outlining stage. Also I am trying to understand all the readings. My challenges on the reading part is most of the words and the subject matters are new to me. From the country I came, we never taught about these subjects and it is really difficult to expand the subject matter above the book. I know that this is my challenge and  I will try to do my best to get better understanding on this subject. I am planning to submit the outline on the coming Monday for your revision.

promosexuals

I believe, the danger of loading words in identifying someone just by seeing his or her outside appearance,  the way they dress, the color ,and other things have been affecting many of us and our families. Starting from my relatives, some of them love to wear tight jeans and the rest pink shirts. In my opinion anybody can wear or dress what ever she or he want to. What they wear or dress should not be determining their sexuality, personality, and other traits, instead, the construction or identifying oneself may be reflected by how one thinks, relates, and acts.

Racial Profiling

In the United States racial profiling becomes the main issue between Caucasians and Minorities. Three days ago I had the chance to see a reality show called "What would you do?",  when a Caucasian security guard asked  few Minorities an ID while they were trying to dine in a restaurant in Arizona. The only people who stood out and spoke to the Caucasian security guard were the same Minority people. I have also spoke to a friend of mine, Caucasian, who went to the same place and he witnessed the same issue on the street. Here is my take. What makes the United States great from the rest of the world is that people from across the globe come here to enjoy freedom, human dignity, and to explore endless opportunities without disrespecting and crossing anyone's interest. This has been enjoyed for years. lets also not to forget that, the majority of immigrant people who are coming to the US  also have been a great contribution for the growth of the economy. Here, Immigration is and has been the main issue. Regardless of the issue, lets treat each other with dignity and respect, this is the United States.
